A four-unit option is available for students who find places in one of the program seminars, complete the reading and writing assignements. To ensure a place in a semninar, talk to the faculty for the seminar you prefer. Seminars will be offered:
Tuesdays 3-4:30 - Data to Information, Brian Walter Thursdays 10-12 - Student Originated Software, Judy Cushing Thursdays 1-3 - Algebra to Algorithms, John CushingCredit awarded in: computer science and information science: the semantic web

4 (lecture and seminar) Signature required
Texts: Weaving the Web, Tim Berners-Lee, HarpersBusiness (for week1), and companion readings to the lecture as assigned for the remaining weeks.
